A who's who of Michigan running turned out to see the legendary coach, Arthur Lydiard, in person, at Utica High School Monday evening. Sponsors Keith and Kevin Hanson of Hansons Running Shops, Curt Munson and Brian Jones of Playmakers, and Ed and Sue Kozloff of the Motor City Striders were all on hand to welcome the 87 year old New Zealand coach.
Coach Lydiard passed on December 19, 2004, just a few weeks after his Michigan visits.
